If you are anything like those of us on the work group, you probably have a handful of businesses that you frequent often enough to be considered a regular… right?
If so, consider using the letter we have prepared that explains to local businesses the benefits of donating to the auction including being listed here on the website and on various printed materials, exposure to potential customers, and the generation of goodwill in the community.
It’s a win-win situation for everyone involved! So start brainstorming about the businesses you can approach, contact them, and then fill out a donation form once you have secured their donation. We currently have HCC faculty and staff members reaching out to businesses like Fadi’s, Maple Leaf Pub, Subway, Cost Plus World Market, the Houston Aeros, Chico’s, Central Market and more so don’t be afraid to think outside the box. 🙂
